Turn Your Phone Into a Game Controller

Play browser games on a big screen and use your phone as the controller. There is nothing to buy and no cable to plug in. The controller opens in your phone's browser.

  • No extra hardware
  • Computer or TV
  • Up to 4 phones where a game allows

Press on the phone, move on the screen

How it works on a computer

  1. Open a supported game and press PLAY NOW.
  2. Press Try on the “Turn your phone into a controller” box. Sign in first if it asks.
  3. If the game allows more than one player, pick Solo or Duo. A game can offer Trio and Quad too.
  4. Scan the QR code with your phone camera. Sign in on the phone if it asks.
  5. When the phone connects, the game starts. Your phone is now the controller.

Changed your mind? Choose Skip and play with the mouse and keyboard instead.

What the controller looks like

Each game picks the layout that suits it. Some show a gamepad on the phone screen, others a touch pad. You do not set anything up. The game decides.

Games that support it

Look for the gamepad icon on a game’s page. These games work with your phone as the controller today:

Not every game supports it. Jelly Bloom, for example, does not.
